Mr. Sushil Jhunjhunwala

Shri. Sushil Jhunjhunwala is the Chairman of the Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Calcutta. He provides strategic direction to the Company and is the driving force behind the establishment and growth of the Company. He has more than 50 years of wide experience in the Glass Industry. He has been a member of our Board of Directors since 1994. He has held important honorary positions in many organizations that includes the President of All India Glass Manufacturing Federation, President of Society of Glass Technology (Indian Section) and president of Calcutta Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Ajit Jhunjhunwala

 Mr. Ajit Jhunjhunwala is the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of La Opala RG Limited. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Calcutta. He was appointed as a Director on the Board of the Company effective October 3, 1989 and subsequently appointed as the joint Managing Director of La Opala RG Ltd., with effect from 1st October 1997. He has more than 30 years of experience in the Glass Industry. He has been instrumental in the development of the Company. He was also the President of Eastern India Glass Manufacturing Association and Committee Member of Confederation of Indian Industries (Marketing Committee). 

Mrs. Nidhi Jhunjhunwala

Mrs. Nidhi Jhunjhunwala is the Whole-Time Director of La Opala RG Limited. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts from University of Calcutta. She has more than 20 years of experience in Marketing / Product Designing. She has been a member of the Board of Directors with effect from May 20, 2010. She is responsible for the Marketing, Planning and Product Designing segments of the Company. With her expertise in marketing and brand building and the mantra of "Do it now!", Mrs. Jhunjhunwala leads her team of professionals from the front, continuously raising the bar to ensure sustained high growth rate. She is also an active member of Ladies Study Group, Indian Chamber of Commerce and a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) Kolkata Chapter.

Mr. Subir Bose

Mr. Subir Bose (DIN:00048451)is serving as a Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board of La Opala RG Limited with effect from April 7, 2017. He has graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and then completed his post-graduation in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was associated with Berger Paints India Ltd. since 1984 and also held position of Managing Director from 1994 to 2012. He also held directorship in Berger Paints (Cyprus) Limited, DIC India Limited, Lusako Trading Limited, The Bengal Club Limited, BJN Paints India Limited, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ganesh Grains Limited among others. He is presently serving as an Independent Director on the Board of Berger Paints India Limited.

Ms. Suparna Chakrabortti

Ms. Suparna Chakrabortti (DIN: 07090308) is serving as a Non-Executive Woman Independent Director on the Board of the Company with effect from January 27, 2022. She is an Associate member of Institute of ICAI and also holds Master’s degree in Business Administration (specialization - Finance) from Rutgers University, NJ, USA and Hunter College, New York, USA. She has served as an Independent Director on the Boards of Rydak Syndicate Ltd & Dhelakhat Tea Company Limited. She is presently serving as Independent Director on the Boards of Duroply Industries Limited, SKP Securities Ltd. and Twamev Construction and Infrastructure Limited.

Mr. Saradindu Dutta

Mr. Saradindu Dutta (DIN: 00058639) is a Master of Commerce from Calcutta University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He had a distinguished career spanning for four decades with ITC Limited, during which he held various key positions across functions. In his last role at ITC Limited, he served as Executive Vice President & Head – Corporate Accounts. He was a member of the CII National Committee on Financial Reporting and member of CII Sub-Group on Indian Accounting Standards. Mr. Dutta served on the Boards of various investment subsidiaries of ITC Limited for several years till his superannuation from ITC Limited in February, 2022. Subsequently, he was associated as a partner in L.B. Jha & Co. Chartered Accountants during the period March 2022 to January 2023. Presently, Mr. Dutta is serving as Executive Director & Trustee of ITC Sangeet Research Academy (ITC SRA), a public charitable trust set up in 1977 by ITC Limited and as a Public Interest Director in the Board of the Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited since March, 2025.
